SRA Membership

SRA members are part of a growing and thriving community characterized by a shared commitment to excellence in risk analysis theory and practice. The diverse interests of members support a wide range of SRA specialty groups. In many areas, opportunities also exist to get involved in a regional organization

All members automatically receive printed copies of Risk Analysis, as well as free online/searchable access to all current and archived journal articles. Members also receive the monthly e-newsletter, which keeps them up to date on activities of interest.

SRA supports a number of meetings and workshops each year. Some of these meetings offer discounts for SRA members. Members can also propose to conduct workshops with SRA sponsorship. The SRA recognizes the achievements of its members with several awards and honors its past presidents and a small number of members with major contributions to the SRA and/or field of risk analysis by recognizing them as SRA Fellows. Members can use the membership directory to quickly find contact information for other members, for example, to find a colleague with a particular type of expertise. Members can also run for office, participate in SRA elections, and provide feedback on member surveys.
